Batik (蜡染) is one of China's oldest textile arts, practiced for over 2,000 years by the Miao ethnic minority. The process involves drawing intricate patterns with molten beeswax, then dyeing the fabric in natural indigo. The wax is later removed, revealing the white patterns against deep blue.
Crafted over 7 days — hand-dyed, wax-resist, and sun-dried
Each scarf tells a story. The Miao women incorporate ancient symbols — dragons, phoenixes, butterflies, and geometric patterns — that have been passed down for centuries. No two scarves are ever exactly alike.
